Easter was a really great day! Got to watch conference... it was AMAZING! Of course it always is... and have dinner with Oscar and his family! Oscar treated me to Columbian sausages... My fav! I was so happy! I think I ate more than I should have, but I only get them once in a while, so I decided to live a little! We also had steak, chicken, rice, pasta, veggies, and pico de gallo. I am going to miss this spanish food!

Ever since Heather lost Sister Frodsham as a companion, there have been very few pictures; thus, the posts have not been as frequent or as detailed as they were when there were pictures. But Heather has finally sent more pictures, so here we go!

In a recent letter, Heather said her Mission President called her in and said, "Sister Burton, we need you back in Bay Shore." So Heather is back where she started, with a brand new sister missionary, Sister De La Mare from Salt Lake City. They are working hard to get things going again in Bay Shore. All of her friends from her first stint there are delighted that she's back. Heather says that they are having success finding and revitalizing the investigators that she and Sister Frodsham had when they were a companionship.

2009 has come and gone and Heather is on the last third of her mission. She is in Midwood, Brooklyn, and loving it! She said that to celebrate New Year's she and Sister T ordered a chicken parmesan pizza "and ate nearly the whole thing!" She said that some of her ' "home girls" from Jamaica are coming to visit me :) Everyone can't believe that they are coming all the way to Brooklyn just to visit me... All I can say is... "Hello! Do you not realize I am the coolest Sister Missionary New York has!?!?" :)'
So things are good in Brooklyn to start 2010!

Heather was transferred to Brooklyn on December 8th. Her new companion is Sister Tauteoli who is a greenie. They are working hard to update the area records and build a new investigator pool.
